‘Icons Unearthed: James Bond’ Documentary Series on SBS Viceland
Icons Unearthed: James Bond will premiere in Australia on 13 January 2024 on SBS VICELAND at 8:30 PM (AEST).
The six-part documentary series features exclusive, candid interviews with the people that helped make the franchise popular and examines the bumpy road it took to bring Ian Fleming’s spy saga to the big screen.
‘GoldenEra’ Streaming Free on Tubi
GoldenEra is now available to stream for free on Tubi for viewers in Australia, Canada and the United States.
Created by Melbourne-based director Drew Roller, GoldenEra looks at the influence GoldenEye 007 had on the games development team, fans, and critics, and examines the games long-term impact within the gaming industry.
‘Live and Let Die’ and ‘Octopussy’ Expanded Limited Edition Soundtracks by La-La Land Records
La-La Land Records have announced the release of the Live and Let Die 50th Anniversary and Octopussy 40th Anniversary Two-Disc Expanded Limited Edition Soundtracks on 16 January 2024.
The remastered and expanded 2-Disc CDs are limited to 5,000 Units, and features exclusive in-depth liner notes by The Music of James Bond author Jon Burlingame and art design by Dan Goldwasser.
Bond in Motion at the International Spy Museum
The International Spy Museum in Washington DC will host Bond in Motion from 1 March 2024 to April 2025 at L’Enfant Plaza.
The exhibition will feature 17 vehicles from the James Bond film series, including the Aston Martin DBS from Quantum of Solace, the Jaguar XKR from Die Another Day, the submarine from For Your Eyes Only and the MR Glastron Boat from Moonraker.
‘Casino Royale’ Radio Adaptation
In a recent interview with the Telegraph, Martin Jarvis has revealed that early this year he will be recording a new radio adaptation of Ian Fleming’s Casino Royale featuring Toby Stephens as James Bond.
